• "New Living Translation" - So you received the message with joy from the Holy Spirit in spite of the severe suffering it brought you. In this way, you imitated both us and the Lord.

• "NIV" - Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.
• They say that if they "imitate" Jesus according to Matthew, etc., they won't sin, thus the sinlessness that we were told to strive for!
• They will even use Galatians 2:20 (modern version, of course) to prove their point.
• They will say you must confess your sins (I John 1:9) in for either forgiveness from God or fellowship with God.
• Romans 4-8 and Colossians 2:11-16 debunks it all!
• This is also why folks / kids don't want this 'Christianity' when they get older.
• They obey as children or get beaten into obedience!
• They leave when they see the hypocrisy within the family and can finally get out!
• II Timothy 3:9 - But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
• Unfortunately, they head to the world, not to Paul - unless taught rightly dividing and following Paul!
• It is Satan that the kids go off to, not to God, etc.
• Question - When one leaves and goes the ways of the world and the other goes to try and follow the ways of Paul, which one is the evil doer?
• When they go the ways of the world, will "God punish them and make them come back?"
• No!
• I Timothy 1:20 - Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
• I Corinthians 5:5 - To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
• Our response to them when they finally 'get out and crumble:'

• Did we as parents drive them away to the world, or to "Peter, James and John in a sailboat," or Rick Warren and his army of imitation Christians seeking the devil's purpose in their life, etc. and not to Paul's ways that are to be taught in every church?

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

• John 4:48 - Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.
• Acts 2:19 - And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
• Acts 2:22 - Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

• As we seem to be approaching the times of great tribulation, we are seeing an increase and popularity in these signs and wonders, etc.
