This is the issue for everyone over everything!  Final Authority!  Who gets to run whom?  This is the issue of every telecast, newscast, front page article and headline in every newspaper and magazine.  Who is the champion?  Who won?  Who is the fastest?  Who had the final word?  Who is the king of the mountain?  This issue does not change any more in the home & marriage, school or church than it does in the UN, the military or local police department.

Answer:  God is King - God runs kingdoms - and will take over kingdoms - with His own King - whom He called King of Kings - although at His first coming, He was only King of the Jews.  He is a potentate which means a monarch with absolute power.

No rebel can get along with a King - Modern Christians are rebels.  Our leaders encourage us to rebel.  Americans are rebels.  Americans have never had a King.  Most Americans still don't want a king - now or in the future (and yet, today - we sure do let the federal government 'rule' over us)!

Our leaders rebel against the people because they are ambitious and desire personal gain.  They want to become gods and usurp the place of God as the Final Authority.  Why?  Because they are of their father the Devil and the Devil said he is going to take the throne and become the King!  He is going to use them to fight that Battle!

God said otherwise:
Genesis 3:15: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

"Her seed" must be a seed without a male involved because 'women' don't produce seeds.  This is a verse that proves the need for a virgin birth.  Isn't that something!  Way back in Genesis, we already knew about Jesus Christ.  I Peter 1:20: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

So the battle of seeds involves the Devil and Jesus Christ.  That is the real war that takes place.  Whose side are you on?  The Devil's or on Jesus Christ's side?

The Devil's army:
Revelation 16:14: For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Jesus Christ's army:
Revelation 19:14,15: And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
II Timothy 2:3: Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Unfortunately, as our old nature belongs to the devil, then when we accept the 'new' King spiritually, we have our own constant battle within ourselves. (That is another sermon - just read the Book of Romans and find out all about that war, amen!)

So, in order to solve that problem, God gave us a Book - that Book IS to be our Final Authority.  That Book IS the word of God and is the words of God.  That Book is what makes God our final authority!  That Book eliminates any and all confusion.  No wonder the Devil and his army hate that Book.

He has offered to the people today a pile of lost scattered pieces of paper written in a dead language that no one could not understand unless they attend a specific school that would teach them how to 'learn' that dead language.  If they cannot attend those seminaries and institutes and bible colleges, then they must turn their loyalty and lives to those scholarly & educated men for their 'wisdom' regarding any understanding from God.  Such a deception and a lie!  Such poison among the ranks of Christianity.

Thus the term Scholarship Onlyism.  Scholarship Onlyism has become the substitute for the Holy Bible - the Authorized Version of the English Protestant Reformation.

Final Authority has been reduced to opinions and preferences, with the arbitrator of conflicting opinions and preferences being the opinions and preferences of the scholars who constantly conflict with each other.

In Scholarship Onlyism, all the conservative & liberal scholars themselves assume the seat of final authority and all of them sit in judgment of the Book!

Their final authority is their own opinion.  Its fruits are one hundred percent error, while professing to have the ability to find errors in ALL translations and ALL Greek texts.

To the average Christian in America, these scholars and graduates of seminaries and colleges come off their chapel platforms as experts in the deeper things of the scriptures.  These human beings consider themselves just a little short of 'gods', fully equipped to get all Christians to place their confidence and trust in the wisdom of words (I Cor 1:17,19) as given to them in the institution they graduated from.

The motive behind this educational conspiracy is self-preservation, the love of money and recognition to be as gods in the lives of their congregation.

The plan behind the Christian Educational Conspiracy was simply to destroy every Bible believing local church in Europe and America by undermining the authority of the Bible in the minds first of the pastor, and then of his congregation, thus changing the entire local church to a place where God is NOT present - thus the worship is directed to the Devil himself!  Remember what the Devil said in Isaiah 14:13,14?

Liars?  Yes, Liars!  You have never met a bigger pack of liars and wolves wearing sheep's clothing.  I have met them 'one on one' myself - I have heard their lies from the pulpits - I have read some of their material - I have read their email!  Their bottom line? They want to tear down your faith in the words of God and put your faith towards them and their brains.  That is NOT from God - that is the desire of the Devil!

So, if you continue with this series, and I figure you will if you have read this far, you will see only a small portion of the material available about these Liars in the Pulpits.  I have plenty of other material throughout my entire website and there is certainly more information available through other web sites and from Dr. Ruckman himself.

But, if you continue with me in this particular series, you will hear me preach that we don't fight scholarship onlyism with King James Scholarship, even though the material is available - we must fight them with faith in the Book!  These folks don't listen to reason and the facts - they make up their own lies regarding facts, anyway, and say that God told them (Jeremiah 23:31: Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith).  We don't believe God to be a liar like they do Jeremiah 7:8: Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.  Psalms 12:6,7 is a promise we believe that God honored and those pure words are still available today in one single book - the King James 1611 Bible. They don't!

They believe that God shows them only through 'their' studies of all that junk out there, as they add and take away from the word of God, all put there by the devil, just to get folks to follow THEM and the results of their 'studies' and 'opinions'.  Thus people today have their 'final authority' in their opinions that were the results of others opinions.  After all, they say, "There is NO single Book that is the word of God.  You must allow me to show you what God would have you know."

Therein lies the battle!  Opinion verses the Book.  Belief in oneself verses the belief in a Book.  Faith in one's scholarship or Faith in the Book!  Words of men verses the words of Jesus Christ.

The words, "The Book", by the way - are always referring to the Authorized King James 1611 Bible of the Protestant English Reformation.
