Yes, there is the verse on ye are of your father, the devil, etc.  but our kid's sin is not imputed to them - yet!
They get to that point eventually!

They must die spiritually...

Goals of the devil with our kids:
        Get them away from those words of the King James Bible!  Luke 8
        Become their 'most high!' Isaiah 14:12-15
        Blind them and keep them blinded!  II Cor 4:1-6
        Keep them when they die spiritually, yet allow them to think they are saved...!

The devil has no problem with 'church,' SS, etc., parents - even the 'message' of Jesus Christ - it those WORDS!
            (take those words away)
            (take kids from them)
            (replace them with self, images, music, lies, etc.)

    Christian kids - godliness but without the power thereof - they actually should be our examples... I Timothy 4:12: Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
    Some know their bible memory stuff, etc. but they grow up hating it all.
    Some know their bible memory stuff, etc. but they don't know what to do with it.
    Some know their Bible memory stuff, etc. but don't have any example to follow.

Proverbs 22:6  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Many are trained but trained wrong - vain babblings have led them to an increase of ungodliness.  (some even just do right wrong)

To many, their life is only all about their own righteousness.
They were cute marvelous obedient kids, but one day suddenly, they find out they are sinners... and they don't like.  They become little Jews!

Many had been shown how to claim Jesus too soon
They have no clue about God, sin, etc. let alone trust - they just had invited Him into their heart!
    ... they grow up deceived about their salvation, and they are clue less about understanding what Christianity really is.. they become religious, baptistic church goer with their suits and dresses (unless they go modern...) (unless they go pentecostal tv).

They don't even know the way of God in the first place - how can they learn it more perfectly!  Acts 18:24+

YOUNG ADULTS
    not interested bible - 'maybe church' if...
    career oriented
    worldly affection
    increased unto more ungodliness
    if anything, Book "users."
    relying on their own wisdom (typical, eh!)

GROWN CHILDREN
    check their kids and HOW they are taught and WHAT they are taught.
    (parents both working, etc. etc. and more etc.)

Jeremiah 33:11 - The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD.  For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.

Kids will follow any doctrine they are around - yes, even your little kids!

Don't just say no!  Feed them the rightly divided truth 100% of their life!  Grace and truth!  joy, riches in full assurance of understanding, deliver them from AND to...

Be careful - it isn't that easy, parents - Colossians 3:21  Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

Question:  Would you give your children over to a barbarian?  (or would you let someone treat them like a barbarian?)  (Florida child killer...)

I know, Deuteronomy 31:19-22.  But the music of the old days was MELODIC - not rhythmic. (see Shem, Ham & Japheth)
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Music, like a preacher, can be a tool, but it can't become the main point!  You know, follow the preacher but miss the sermon!  (Mark 8)

And what is the purpose of that 'tool' of music?

Music can overtake and even replace the book - and it has -  just like church has today - just like 'programs' and 'gymnasiums' and etc.  The pillar has become more important than than the truth!  I Timothy 3:15  But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
