Who Does the World Seek, Today?

In the previous sermon, Where Can God Be Found Today, we reviewed all the ways that God has revealed Himself to His creation (us) and how the Devil confounded, corrupted and confused those revelations.

We saw that people today seek God 'their own way' instead of by "God's Only Way" and as a result, they find the lie and deception from 'the god of this world' and are kept blinded from the truth of 'thee Almighty God'!

And in our conclusion, we heard and saw in the Scriptures that if anybody would honestly 'seek' God today, the only place they would find Him is in the Authorized King James 1611 Holy Bible.  We also saw the importance of ourselves as 'Bible Thumping' witnesses in God's salvation process for those lost folks who are truly seeking God!

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. I Timothy 3:16 As He inspired His words and promised to preserve them, He has given them to us in the form of written scripture - the sword of the Spirit - For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  Hebrews 4:12

The questions were then asked:  : How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent?(Romans 10:14,15)

If you have a King James 1611 Bible, then you are to consider yourself 'sent'!  The Holy Spirit will use your personal and scriptural testimony and witness along with written articles, Bibles as gifts to folks, handing out tracts, etc.

or
If you don't have a King James 1611 Bible, then if you truly want to 'meet' God on His 'turf', then you had better go get one while they can still be 'got'!

For some reason, those KJV Bibles are getting harder and harder to find.  Hmmmm!

The other day, I received the following email from a wee little cowardly man: (no name, opinion with no scriptures and not telling me what is the 'right way' only going after what he says is the wrong way - typical of wimpy little cowards, eh?)
I must say, if I had never fallen upon a more perfect flock of utter sheep, it has to be here. It saddens me that people like you are the best that Christianity has to offer: mindless people who like to tell us all what "God" wants. And what's most intriguing is that people such as yourself have the nerve to wonder why the world is in the state that its in and why they don't "turn" To Christianity. Its quite simple. When zealots come around on their high horse with these perverted versions of the truth, they tend to fill people with such utter disgust that Christianity isn't even an option anymore.

First off, I believe that you don't have the faintest idea what the "occult" is or you would not be mouthing off the way you are. As far as I'm concerned, all you know is "witch bad, God good!" Try imagining a neanderthal saying this the exact same way, and that's basically the kind of prattle I see reading your ridiculous commentary. It amazes me that Christians constantly need to add some "fuel to the fire" so to speak in order to get more believers, but honestly, attacking a book made for children? (Harry Potter series) You can't get more pathetic then that. Lightning bolt a symbol of the devil indeed! I suppose from now on whenever I see a lightning bolt, satanic rituals are soon to follow.

It seems obvious that the concept of magic scares you because it unbridles your precious beliefs. Were I to understand such cowardism perhaps I would not be writing this as we speak. But sadly, people like you do exist in the world and yes, there are plenty of fools that follow you as well. In this I feel a great regret in my heart for the agnostic looking for something to believe in...they'll never find Christianity present in their hearts as long as people like you are around.

I do believe that in these days, as we see fewer and fewer people actually seek out God other than to be the god that they want him to be, we will not only see those folks turn towards their self-designed gods that makes them 'feel good' about themselves, but we will also see them turn to US - the King James Onlyism bunch - the ones who seek a final authority in one Holy God, one Holy Saviour, one Holy Spirit and one Holy Book!.

Instead of Seeking after God, they will seek after us!

Of course there will be those few (and fewer) folks who will be seeking for more witness and truth of the King James Bible, but unfortunately, I believe that there will be more and more seeking to shut us up!  To close that Book!  To get rid of that Book - to get rid of us!  We are what America use to be!

Why does our witness irritate them so much?  Why do they even care about what we say?  Why do they consider us such a threat?  Why are we not allowed the same 'freedom of belief' that they enjoy themselves in this country?  What is it about our witness that so infuriates them?  What is it about that King James Bible that makes folks so 'fearful', so 'threatened', so 'insecure' in their own belief that they strike out at us - or even at the Bible (the KJV, that is)?

It's simple - and we have here another proof of the actual 'saving nature' of that King James 1611 Bible - it is the cutting & discerning conviction of the Holy Spirit. And when he (the Comforter - vs 7) is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:8-13

and the King James Bible itself is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart because the Holy Spirit calls it its' sword!  Eph 6:17; Hebrews 4:12

Our lost friends and family members today want to rid themselves of the work of the Holy Spirit within that King James Bible!  They want to rid themselves of the doctrine - the reproof - the correction - the instruction in righteousness (God's own righteousness) that the Holy Spirit puts on them when we do witness with & through those God-inspired and God-preserved scriptures.

Through our witness with that King James Bible, the Holy Spirit is knocking on their door!  Whether it be over sin, over righteousness or over judgment, the spirit of the devil in them turns them onto us and after us & to that Book!  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him ...  John 8:44a

It also goes without saying, but I will say it anyway: if Christians have nobody 'attacking back' from their witness, then I would wonder how much they are allowing the Holy Spirit to work THROUGH them in their personal witness!

Is their witness a little weak, maybe?  Does Luke 8:14 even affect the results of our own witness?  And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. Are we so involved with the cares and riches and pleasures of this life, that our witness is weakened?  Is the Holy Spirit grieved and quenched to where our witness is grieved and quenched?

Maybe folks today just can not - or will not - endure hardness!
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
Maybe our folks today are just too caught up - entangled - with the affairs of this life!
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life;
that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
II Timothy 2:3,4
Many folks are just having too much fun in this world to be willing to endure that hardness!
 ...lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
II Timothy 3:4

Are KJV Christians just trying to be 'nice' to people?
Are we spreading the unscriptural "unconditional love" that has infiltrated into our ranks?
Is there fear - is there disappointment, is their shame in being called 'the enemy'? (Gal 4:16)
Are Christians just not willing to speak the 'truth in love' anymore? (Ephesians 4:15)

A true Christian - one that is scripturally saved - has truly received the love of the truth - why don't these same Christians want to tell others about that same love of the truth?  (II Thessalonians 2:10)
Is it just easier to love in 'deed' only and leave out the 'truth'?  (I John 3:18)  I suppose that is one way you maintain your friends & family relationships, amen?

So, anyway - as these folks seek us out more and more - we will find ourselves in so called 'situations' - 'confrontations' - maybe some could even be called 'fiery trials'.  From listening to our Daniel study last Monday night, I must reiterate an observation here.

Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.  Daniel 3:25

For whatever reasons, it seems that more and more Christians today would rather ask the Lord get them OUT of the fire - out of the hard situation - the confrontation - the misery - the frustration - the difficulty - from between that famous rock and a hard place - or even from a medical situation.  Why is that?  Those three young men were not touched by the fire!  They have no hurt it says.  The fire had no power on their bodies - nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. vs 27

And look at the results of their witness - 28Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.  29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, in the province of Babylon.  Daniel 3:28-30.

We have turned into such 'non-fighters!'  We would rather Jesus Christ get us out of the fires today instead of staying in there with Him and letting Him protect us - to fight using us - to just BE THERE with us during our difficult times.

More and more KJVChristians today are playing it safe by 'coping, 'sharing.' 'adjusting,' & 'loving' and 'relating,' in other words, just being just as careful as they can be so that no one finds out what they really believe about the Book!

Do we really believe all that stuff on the anti-christ and world government from our Daniel studies is true?

Do we really believe all that stuff on eternity - the millennium - spiritual circumcision?

Do we really believe all that has been preached about today's music is true?

Do we really honestly believe that unsaved people - our own friends and family - will burn forever?  Do we really believe that there is a pit - a lake of fire - a furnace - darkness - everlasting shame - reproach - eternal torment - weeping - wailing - gnashing of teeth for those who reject what this Book says about Jesus Christ?

Do we really believe that this King James Bible IS the Word of God?  Do we believe THIS BOOK RIGHT HERE will do all those things it says the word of God will do?

Famous quote: "Today's Christianity is a joke - it is a kiddy's game for middle class sissies who want to get along with their wives and her friends."  Is it happening to us King James folks now, too?

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; I Timothy 4:1

When we have what we may try to call a 'fiery trial', we ought to just get into the Book and let the word of God work effectually in us - because we believe, right?  II Thessalonians 2:13

We don't need to beg God to get us out of our trials and difficulties that He has chosen for us!

We don't need to beg God to keep us away from the trials of being a Bible Believing Bible Reading Born-again washed in the Blood King James Bible carrying Christian!

We need to let the Holy Spirit have it's way with whatever the purpose that fiery trial is designed for!

Fiery trials build character in us and in our children, amen?
Fiery trials make us trust in the Lord even more, amen?
Fiery trials make for a good witness, amen?
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
James 1:3

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Romans 5:1-5
Fiery trials give us peace - IF we let the Lord care for us FROM THE BOOK!

Ephesians 6:16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Our faith, which  ... cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17) is the very shield the Lord gives us as we are caught up in our daily trials.  We have no reason to run from these trials.  Why DO the children of God suffer?  Maybe to just learn how to increase their faith so they can learn how to be joyful fighters!

I Peter 4:12-14  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

So when our friends 'seek' us to 'tear us apart' - to criticize us - to mock us:
because we go to Touchet Baptist Church...
because we go to church more than once a week...
because we give more than the token $5.00 religious offering...
because we read AND try to obey the King James Bible...
because we don't look & act like our friends anymore...
because we don't do the things they do anymore...
because we don't go to the places they go to anymore...
because we don't watch the tv programs that they do anymore...
because we don't accept the queers and sodomites like they do...
because we don't let their educated change agents teach our children anymore...
because we know the subtle deceitfulness of the devil regarding our own children...
because we know the truth behind history and know how to rightly divide this Book ...
because we know what the future brings and how all that is going on today is in the Book...

... When people besiege us with their attacks (that is, if we have witnessed to them, anyway), we must remember that we should STAY IN THE BOOK during the trial - not beg God to get us out!

We don't need to 'question' God or 'question' the Book - we need to just trust Him!  The strength is in that Book - God is in that Book!  The Holy Spirit is in that Book!  But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.  John 20:31

These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.  I John 2:26-28

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.  I John 5:13

What are YOUR fiery trials?

Do you get them when you hand out gospel tracts?
Do you get them from your husband as you try to be a Godly Woman?
Do you get them from your wife as you try to be a Godly Man?
Do you get them from your parents as you try to be a Godly Teen?
Do you get them from your children as you try to be a Godly Parent?
Do you get them from the workplace as you try to be a Godly servant?
Do you get them from your servants as you try to be a Godly master?
Do you get them your family because they have rejected you?
Do you get fiery trials from those who you figured were your best friends?
Do you get them from some of the church brethren for something
you have no idea what it is even about?

Are you in your Bible through it all, or do you just sit with a closed Book
and wish the whole trial would just go away?

You think YOU have fiery trials?

Look at what 'love' these folks have in for us as they grow in numbers in America...

Surah 2:190, 191  And fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you but be not aggressive.  Surely Allah loves not the aggressors.  And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from where they drove you out, and persecution is worse than slaughter.  And fight not with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it; so if they fight you (in it), slay them.  Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.

Surah 9:5  So when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captive and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush.  But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free.  Surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.  Surah 9:5

Surah 9:29  Fight those who believe not in Allah, nor in the last day, nor forbid that which Allah and His messenger have forbidden, nor follow the Religion of Truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.

Surah 9:123  O you who believe, fight those of the believers who are near to you and let them find firmness in you.  And know that Allah is with those who keep their duty.

Ah, such loving folks, eh?

And there is this, too - Lately, I have been receiving a large amount of 'hate' mail regarding Dr. Ruckman and Dr. Sutek.  I imagine, as Dr. Gipps name has been mentioned, I figure I will soon be hearing about him, too.  I also am aware of other material on other men that have now since passed on.

I look for these days to produce more and more 'Christians' with metal detectors for brains.  I see it like this:

I have a church member who recently bought a metal detector.  One day I noticed a bunch of holes in the church yard - ah, not good, I thought.  As I was soon talking with our local metal detector, I 'felt' a sermon coming on.

Just like the metal detecting crowd who believes that digging up a grassed lawn is justifiable because of the hidden 'potential' treasure to be found underneath, I see many Christians doing the same thing with former pastors and other Christians who now have developed a 'green' lawn.  They are more concerned about a persons past - the junk underneath that grass - for whatever reason.  They are willing to dig up the 'lawn' that has grown over the years so they can find some junk from the past.  They say they are not after the gold, they are after the relics.  They get excited over finding someone junk from their past.

They are willing to destroy a part of a person's present life so that they can dig up the junk from the past.  They have to go beyond the present 'grass' - the grass that took many years of learning, growing and many experiences to get to this point.  That matters not.  They want to get down in the dirt and dig!

And besides all that nonsense, they are convinced that others are as interested in that junk and so they will try to show everybody the junk they found.

Do you suppose it is because they don't want anyone to know about the 'relics' in their own past, so they go after someone who has a better lawn than they do, amen?  A bit of jealousy, do you suppose?

Well, I am not interested in Dr. Ruckman's past relics under his lawn.  You see, I did not raise any man so high that when I found out he was a sinner receiving God's grace like I am, I am not ready to crumble from the junk in his past.  I am not interested in Dr. Ruckman's lawn.  That is HIS lawn, not mine.  What he has under that grass is not my business.  What is under my grass is nobody's business except the Lord's.  These jealous spineless cowards who don't even have the courage to put their name to their junk collection as they send it around are not worth the spit it takes to drown a no-see-um bug.  And they think they are doing God a good thing!  Where have we heard that before!!!

My point in this sermon is that IF we will stick to this KJV Bible, we soon will be undergoing more fiery trials than we have ever imagined!  Many folks have fallen - many folks lost the battle during their trial.  'They had no roots, amen?  They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.   Luke 8:13

They either gave up or caved in.  How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished! II Samuel 1:27

As most folks today stay away from the King James Bible and then those many who eventually depart and fall away, they will soon 'seek us out' to let us know how wrong we are.

STAY IN THE BOOK!
Show them who is right!
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:
and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope
that is in you with meekness and fear:
I Peter 3:15
